Browse All TopicsI have over 1,000 corrup JPEG images. I can track the corruption back to August 2008, but do not have any backup of this data preceding the corruption. I think that the JPEGSNOOP.EXE software (writtent by Calvin Haas at Impulse Adventure) may fix these corruptions but I do not have the expertise to use this software.
Are there any experts out there who have successfuly used this software
Many thanks

Many thanks for these suggestions (which I will follow through with).
I think that JPEGSNOOP may be the answer (as the examples on the Impulse Adventure website so closely resemble the issues that I am having).
I was hoping that there would be an expert out there who has successfully used this software to resolve JPEG issues and could talk me through the process I would need to correct the corrupt JPEG files I have....
Regards
I have same problem as you,,, but I have 51,500 corrupted images (jpeg missing file headers), I tried jpegsnoop but as yo i do not know how to use it. I successfully recovered some samples with JPEG Recovery Pro 5" but it requires manual selection.
So I'm looking for a fast (and hopefully free) jpeg repair toll being able to work in batch mode.
