e can i enhance the quality of images

Hi,

I am building a website for a friend, and she has lots of photos and i have taken part using parts out using ms paint, but now the quality doesnt look as good. Is there any way i using software that i can make the pictures look better?

here is the site and i am talking about the first two pics on the home page and then the profile and services page
