I have several GB pictures taken every year. Some are for particular event, some are just for fun.
I manage them in various ways, but it looks in confusion. So I want to know is there some good way to manage so many mess pictures, or how do those photographer do this.Thanks a lot

It really does come down to personal preference. However, Picasa does an excellent job of both folder-based and tag-based organization.
Pictures are, by default, imported into their own folders and presented in chronological order. However, any number of tags can be added later for additional organization.
In addition to tags, Picasa allows you to group photos into virtual albums. As an example, I put together a bunch of photos for a digital picture frame for my mother. I collected photos from various folders and added them all to a virtual album called "photo frame for Mom" within Picasa. Then, I was able to view them all together and later transfer them to an SD card without having to search back through the various folders.

Hi,
If your running Vista then the best way i find to manage my pictures is via tagging within Windows Photo Gallery. Failing that then Googles Picasa does a very similar and equally productive job.
