Picasa with mpegs - audo codec problem

I'm using picasa to index and view 15 mpegs I have in a folder. These all have mpeg2-video codec, 12 of which have a mpeg-1 audio layer 2 audio codec, while the remaining 3 have a AC3 audio codec.

Running picasa on my laptop picks up all 15 mpegs no problems.

However, on my desktop pc, picasa only picks up the 3 mpegs with the AC3 audio codec ... the other 11 with mpeg-1 audio layer 2 are just not picked up.

Any ideas how I can fix this on my desktop?

I've got utilities like sherlock codec and mediainfo if more details are needed.

can you download driver genius and scan the computer, dont finish the scan and download drivers. you would not need them. just tell me what driver genius found for driver missing catagory. thanks

Thanks for the response. I've attached the output from driver genius though it only shows out of date drivers rather than any missing so don't think it sheds any light on the problem.
