Browse All TopicsHi there!
I've got a Digigr8 digital camera, a very simple thing but nevertheless a camera. It appears that I've lost my driver CD, and Windows XP refuses to recognize it other than as a PC-camera without proper drivers.
it;s a 1.3MegaPixel interpolation resolution thingy, with an USB-connection and no other options whatsoever.
But: I have to get the driver somewhere because my daughter's photo's are on it, and I can;'t seem to get them out of that thing!
Does anyone have a suggestion?

@Soup: sorry, no can do... there's no removable memorycard or something like that. Just a shutterbutton and an USB socket.
@shayneq: already found that driver, and tried that. It installed MyDSC2, but when I tried to run it and attached my camera, it did;t work. MyDSC2 said no camera was attached, and XP said "Found PCCamera" and wanted to have drivers for it. I tried to point to c:\windows\inf\mydsc2 and c:\windows\twain_32\mydsc2
Suggestions anyone?
Maybe anyone has the same camera and a CD to spare for upload?
Already tried that, got the message that "there is a problem with the hardware and it cannot be used until there are better drivers" (in dutch that is).
I keep Windows XP really up-to-date, so yeah, I've got the latest SP with latest updates (even installed the last Genuine check... :-D )
I've got pictures of the camera here, maybe that'll help?

@Venabili
since I seem to have unlimited points, I wouldn't mind to give the points to shayneq. after all, he has tried to help me the most. Unfortunately the question is still unsolved... :-(
We found a work-around though: we bought another camera with a proper interface and drivers ;-)
@shayneq: thanx anyway for thinking along!
