Ok so i want to broadcast my webcam over the internet. I have the program active webcam 7.5 the program uploads 1 image a second. Its a little slow. I have a 2.5 ghz laptop with 2 gigs of ram. dual pentium 4. so i think it should be able to handle the processing. I have it set to upload 20 frames per second through the active webcam program to my website.
www.buttonbeats.com/webcam.html . My website is hosted on go daddy. com. Do you think they prohibit uploads to 1 per second? Or is it the program that cant handle the uploads. My system recources are only at 13 % used when i have the active web cam uploading the pics. I want a nice fluid motion on my broadcasted video. I need at least 3 frames per second.
