Rotate View - does not save

Hello, I am wondering why I can not save a pdf file in adobe (not pro) with a rotated view?  After I rotate the view and save and reopen, the view is not saved like I thought it would be.  I guess this is a limitation of adobe (not pro)?

There are two ways to rotate pages- one way lets you save and the other way does not. If you use "Rotate View" you cannot save the rotation. Instead, use the Rotate Pages Menu Item (in Acrobat 7 it is Document ->Rotate pages, I don't have Acrobat 6 on my system anymore but I think it is the same). Make the changes in the Rotate Pages dialog and then you will be able to save the PDF with that set rotation.

mcracco, thanks for the response.  I do not see a "Rotate Pages" anywhere.  I searched on the help and it only returns Rotate View and it also says this p;age rotation under Rotate View can not be saved.  

Do you know where rotate pages could be?

What version of Acrobat are you using? Standard?

I am using the standard at work but have pro at home.  Pro jdoes have this option and I saved it with pages rotated.  I guess standard does not have rotate pages option.
