Cannot select displayed Templates

Hi

My company has series of customerised word template which are place in the following location c:\data\template\normal.dot.  This works fine for everyone (the template are display on the main word bar) except for this one particular user who cannot select any of them even though it displayed their for her to see. Nothing happens when she clicks on it.

 This is how the template are used: you select a template from the menu bar (located under New blank document, Open, Save icon etc) and the template pops up ready for input. An example of one of this template is specially customised company letter with headings.

Any ideas as to what might be the problem is very welcome.
