Do you have office installed? If you do, you have the MS Office Document Image Writer installed which adds a printer driver that will convert anything you print to .tif.

Browse All TopicsI am looking for a free (or very cheap) utility that will allow us to convert a multipage PDF file to a multipage TIFF file. We do have Adobe Acrobat 8 so we have the ability to export PDFs to TIFF files, but that method creates a separate TIFF file for each page. As such, alternatively a utility capable of taking multiple TIFF files and combining them into one multipage TIFF file is also acceptable (however going straight from PDF to TIFF is desired for simplicity).
I've found a few EE articles addressing this issue but they either contain links to pages that no longer exist or links to uncompiled source code for various applications. We will be running this utility on Windows XP Pro (32 bit)

@s8web. Thanks for your reply. They do have office installed, but I'm not sure which version off hand. (I have a call into that office to find out) On my computer I have Office 2007 and appear to have the Microsoft XPS Document Writer installed. If it turns out he has 2007 as well and not 2003 do you know if there is anyway to install this printer with Office 2007?
s8web's suggesting of using the Microsoft Document Image Writer was successful as the client had Office 2003 installed. Other of our clients have Office 2007 installed and do not have this printer available. From what I have been able to gather from sources online however we should be able to add this feature from add/remove in Office 2007 as well.
