acrobat 8, copy and paste a picture file from photoshop
want to paste a small picture
the picture is off my signature
maybe it can be clip art
or import the small picture
ideally the picture should have a transparent background so picture looks like a real signature

try this.....
remove the bg of your signature in PS, and then export the image as a PNG with transperancy
open Acrobat>tools>Commenting>Stam
choose your signature PNG file now and go through the next steps to add the image in one fo the catogeries
once added, it will insert the image signature on the PDF file, you can move/resize it now to the required size and placement.

you cannot add the picture in acrobat itself
for adding images, you have to go back to the original program which created this pdf, e.g. Word, Illustrator, InDesign etc. etc.
you can remove the bg from the signature in PS(post back if you don;t know how to do this) and then can use the image in the original program to add it, and then create the PDF again.
another ways is, to open the PDF in PS, this will convert it to a bitmap image
then add your signature and then create a PDF using Print to AdobePDF printer.
but this will generate a PDF having the image and not the actual vector artwork.
