Browse All TopicsI have used Cute PDF for a couple years with great success. Suddenly, it won't convert web site links unless the actual web address is written in the document. I can no longer select text in the document and use that to point to a url. I recently updated by Adobe Reader 8, but I'm not sure why that would cause any problems with pdf creation. I am converting from an MS Publisher document.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled both the Cute PDF software and the GhostScript converter they recommend. No improvement.
I've attached a document to help you see the problem more clearly. "The Birds and the Bees" is a link that points to the exact address as the link slightly below it, http://www.inthebeginningf
Does anyone have any suggestions, other than trying a different free pdf converter?

I've tried downloading PrimoPDF and using that to convert the file. Very same issue as with CutePDF. Suggestions?

Okay, now I officially feel stupid. After discovering that Publisher is the problem rather than the pdf converter, I decided to try saving my .pub as some other file type. Guess I never really looked at ALL the options in the Save As dialog, because .pdf is one of them! Tried it, and it worked perfectly! I guess that's one of the hazards of being self-taught.....
