Adobe Standard 8 QUestion
Is there a way for me to edit a PDF file such as cleaning up the stray black marks from scanned documents in Adobe Stanard 8? I Also have Adobe 8 Pro...is this possible to clean a document up with either of these two versions of Adobe? If so, how???

You can use any image editing program that can open PDF files, you just need to configure the touchup tool in Acrobat's preferences: Open up the preferences dialog (in Windows, it's under Edit), then select the "TouchUp" category and then click on the "Choose Image Editor" button. Browse to the image editor you want to use. Now you can right-click on an image and select to Edit it.
You can download a 30 day trial version of Photoshop from Adobe's web site.

for such kind of retouching/cleaning to images, you need photoshop or programs euivalent to it. Acrobat, InDesign and Illustrator like programs cannot achieve these things.
