The simple answer is you cannot.
Acrobat 7 is not Vista compliant, not even in compatibility mode I am afraid. The earliest version that is is 8.1:

The only solution is to upgrade to Acrobat 9 or by obtaining Acrobat 8.1via a reseller that still stocks it.
