Sorry for the delay, I was waiting for the user.
Safe mode did not change anything.

Browse All TopicsI have a user that when he tries to print from Outlook 2007 or Adobe Reader 9, it takes 30-40 seconds to open the print menu every time. All other applications print menu's open normally.
I ran:
Outlook /cleanfreebusy (although since it happens in Adobe I knew this wouldn't fix it)
Registry Cleaner
Cleaned Temp Files
Cleaned up start-up items
Any ideas?

OK, I removed Adobe with no impact. When I was testing the change after Adobe I noticed while it was stalling there was a message in the bottom of the window, "Connecting to printers" then I checked his network printers and he had about 20. I deleted all but 3 in his immediate area and the print menu appeared almost immediately. I really feel stupid for not thinking of that.

Close Outlook and Reopen using
Start>Run>Outlook.exe /safe
Try printing here.
Does it take just as long?
