Asked by SCSGIS in Adobe Acrobat, Encryption for Network Security
Background:
We have a user that runs a batch sequence in Adobe Acrobat.
The sequence applies security settings to Acrobat files that are drawn from a what we call the Master .pfx file and two .fdf files.
Issue:
After the sequence is run on a .pdf the file will open only with the Master .pfx file password.
There are two .pfx files that control printing and regular viewing capabilities and the password associated with them does not work.
This batch sequence has worked flawlessly for over a year and then suddenly we are not able to access the files but by using the Master password.
I have created and recreated this sequence using different names and using the appropriate .fdf and .pfx files but they will not open with the password we have always used...just the Master.
Anyone have an idea of where I can start looking to resolve this issue?
