Document #1. On one publisher document containing a png file, after convertion into PDF format (via Acrobat 8 - Adobe CS3), the final version has multiple horizontal lines throughout the document. It slightly shifts the pic from side to side above and below the line. I am converting in "Press Quality", but I notice less distortion in "Standard" conversion.
Document #2. On another publisher document containing a chart of data (png file as well), after converting into PDF format, some the characters in the chart are changed. Sometimes the 1 turns into a ' and sometimes a 0 turnes into a C. It appears during the conversion process some of the characters are chopped off, but not consistantly throughout the document. The distortion does not follow any consistent pattern, meaning the distortion isn't in a straight verticle, or straight horizontal line. It's more sporatic in sections.
Would upgrading to CS4 and Publisher 7 eliminate this communication problem?
