Adobe Acrobat Professional 7 - save as jpg

I'm trying to convert a PDF to a JPG using Adobe Acrobat Professional 7

The manual suggests just do a File / Save As and choose JPG - sounds easy

When I do this nothing at all happens - no new files are created ?

I've tried this with several PDF documents, even some that I have created myself and they all do the same - nothing
