If you have Acrobat PRO use the TouchUp Object tool and delete the marble backgrounds. Then run the Optimiser again, you will still get the attachment message but the file size is around 300Kb depending on the Optimisation options chosen.<br />

I get a warning/advisory that:<br />
The PDF file contains attachments. &nbsp;PDF Optimizer will not process the attachments. You'll need to open each attachment and run this command to process all files.<br />
I did View&gt;Nav Panels&gt;Attachments, and selected the attachment and deleted it, and saved the file and there was no improvement in file size.<br />
I do not need/want the hi res attachment that is somehow embedded.<br />
How can i retain the lo res images and live text.<br />
(i can import into PS and save as PDF from there, but i lose the live text)<br />
