PDF Extended user rights fail under Firefox and Chrome
I have an interactive pdf, created with Acrobat X Professional, at https://secure.mauitradewinds.com/Transman/resform.pdf I would like viewers to be able to fill in text fields from within their browsers, and save the file with form data to their hard disc. I have enabled extended rights for Reader users. This works under IE, Opera and Safari. However, under Firefox and Chrome, which have default pdf viewers that behave differently, the form data cannot be saved. Is there a solution for that?

Hello Nrishimha: thank you for your comments and testing. With your Firefox, are you using the default pdf viewer, or have you disabled that and activated the Adobe Reader plugin?

Thank you for those details. I'm also able to save form data with Firefox now, but I couldn't earlier. Hard to understand. Can you think of a way to work around the issue with Chrome? Chrome has a default-enabled pdf viewer which doesn't recognize Reader extensions. Sticky notes don't display text, and the form data can't be saved.

Hello,
I can fill the form and click on Save button under Firefox 9 and get a PDF document on my PC with form and with a filled fields. And open it in Acrobat Pro or Acrobat reader and see that data.
For Chrome is a problem. I can't see any button for saving. I tried to save a filled document, but after saving there are no data.
But, I have a several PDF printer drivers and choose to Print to PDF under Chrome and it WORKS !!!
