Adobe 9 Pro installer anywhere?
Rebuilding my hard drive after having reformatted, I find I never kept a copy of the Acrobat 9 Pro installer. (I have the key.) I've tried web searches; Adobe offers something called "9 Pro Extended" but my key for 9 Pro doesn't do the trick. Can anyone help -- either download link or installer itself?

No. Those are just generic download pages of Adobe, NOT links for the specific installer I want.

Yes, I saw that and I try to find Adobe Acrobat 9 Professional on the Internet.
And there are 99% Adobe Acrobat 9 Professionals that are on warez sites.

It seems to me there is a tendency - perhaps not a rule, but a tendency - that when one expert gives an answer, then others will not weigh in, as if there is some kind of gentleman's agreement to defer to one another rather than to compete. The result is that when the first person to answer doesn't have a good answer, the forum is much less valuable than it might be as a resource. In the extreme case that the person who gives a bad answer knows it is bad, and is just bluffing hoping to get points, it is a selfish and anti-social act a lot like stealing.

It sounds like a serious "accusation". But, everything you have written is wrong.
So please, be so kind and click on the above menu on option "ANSWER".
Then read all those questions. And have a look at a column that contains a number of the experts and non experts that answered on the question.
You won't see number 1. But higher than 1. That means that there were several experts or non-experts who give their own solution for every problem.
Your opinion is in a group of "conspiracy theories". So, I don't like to write anything about your assumptions, because you have to first prove that what are you talking about.
And for your information - I was "googling" until 2:30 AM to find original CD with Adobe Acrobat 9 Professional.
The only site with Adobe Acrobat 9.0 Professional CD is an FTP site:

Well, this original CD has an original installation folders and files, but on the Chinese language.
It can be a problem for you. But, for me it is not a problem, because after installation I can change the language to English and I will have all menus, toolbars and Preferences in English language.

Great. That means Adobe not removed your version of Acrobat 9 ONLY from Adobe server.
Adobe do it on all of the private stores servers that purchase Acrobat 9 PRO !!!
Because I was looking for a TRAIL version of Acrobat 9 PRO and I couldn't find any site with that version although I was searching for that version, because you can register TRIAL version and get full version.
If you think that I have stored all version of Adobe Acrobat PRO in my room - then you are wrong.
If you think that other people have PUT your version on Internet - you are wrong. It is illegal.
I can find many versions of Acrobat 9 Professional, but not version 9.0, but other versions like 9.1 or 9.3 or 9.4 I can.
So, I have only one question for you - what is your version number of Acrobat 9 - 9.0, 9.1, 9.3 or something else?

4. My version (as installed on a second computer) is 9.4.1. I cannot remember if it was delivered as such or if I installed an upgrade. However I'm guessing that the exact sub-version won't be a problem since it looks to me from one of the Adobe links that you first posted that upgrades from 9 to 9.3 or 9.4 are freely available, suggesting that the serial key I have will be the same for all.

You are right for a versions of Acrobat 9 PRO. These updates from Adobe.com are free updates to update Acrobat 9 PRO to higher version.

Right, the link in the error message wasn't identical to the link in your email. But I did try it twice with the same failure both times.
Then, following your reply, instead of using your new link I went back to the original one for a third time and it worked. Maybe the file was somehow held against copying during my first two attempts.
Anyway, the net result is that the endeavor worked, I have the desired installer, and accept your solution. Thanks.
