Hi there.
If your are using windows, you can try the procedure I included for changing the default printer. You might just want to build some config / state saving around it to save the "real" default printer and set it back after printing.
I am sure you know how to print once you have changed the def printer, but I include a little procedure for that as well.

Wich report generator are you using? Fast Report has a built in PDF Exporters.
Another solution can be use a PDF printer, like PDFCreator (do you know it?)
