Asked by iFroyd in Norton Ghost Backup Software, Ghostscript PDF Software, Windows Batch Scripting
Hi,
I have a department in my company that runs some serious programs and have some intricate configurations in their laptop. Recently one of these users had their Hd gone bad and i found myself with some couple of days to bring a machine from scratch with everything he had before. That being said i need some sort of backup for these guys.
I think that a baremetal ghost image is the best way to go because if something happend with the harddrive i can get a new one, image it and put in the same machine and off this user will go.
I need to create an automatic way of doing this but i am not sure if what i believe is the best is really the best so here is two questions:
1) Is what i believe really the best method ?
2) How do you think i can achieve that ? I have seen many batch files around but they seem to be for ghost 2003. I currently have Ghost 10.
