Adobe Non-Admin Runtime Error

When trying to open pdf files as an administrator, the files open without problems. However, if a non-admin tries to open that same pdf files he/she receives a runtime error and adobe acrobat pro closes.

*we have the newest version of adobe cs4 installed
*we are using adobe acrobat pro not reader
*we are running windows xp
