Shekerra,

I've have seen others looking for this font before. No go. It may not be a font, it might be a logo designed to look like a font - in other words, there might not be other letters in that series. They have used that logo since 1909, so it would be an older font if it exists.

Here's a similar style, although not the same, as you'll see:

I think he is likely requesting the script. I think MLB and the Yankees are pretty proctetive of it and might take down a company offering the font for free or selling it without licensing rights.  Also I tried to find it searching through some font requests at other sites and I went back a few months on one and didn't find anything.
