LHerrou - thanks. I'm not completely convinced - the "S" is right, but the "A" and "B" are different...
Any other idea?

I have two samples of extremly bad quality of a font. I'm looking for the font name. I've tried WhatTheFont and IdentyFont without luck.

Note especially the characters "BAS" at the bottom - the B and the S are a bit unusal.
Any idea what this font is?

Actually, you're right - the g is different as well.
Nope, no other idea at this time, but I'll see what I can come up with.

Yeah, you're right.
I've re-created the logo now and it most certainly is Verdana. Appearently, the author first created the text part of the logo, then pasted it over the original logo (which had a slightly different text), then strechted the text part a bit (which is why it's difficult to see the Verdana) and finally saved it as GIF.
Well, another puzzle solved...

Hi Jan,
ts/redroos ter/lesmor e-rr/
I think it's Lesmore RR, which is available in several weights and variations.
Probably Lesmore Condensed Bold for the main text. You can see the full family here: http://www.myfonts.com/fon
