Adobe Font does not print well to PDF

Hello

I have Adobe's Myriad Pro installed and used it in MS Word. However, the font goes all wrong when I try to convert the Word doc into PDF. I have tried using Amyuni PDF converter as well as Adobe's own PDF Converter online. I use
- Windows XP Prof with all upgrades and patches installed
- MS Office 2003
- Adobe Acrobat Reader 7.0
- Amyuni PDF Converter

I tried installing a PostScript printer downloaded from Adobe's site and tried using it for printing, but the problem continues. Any help?
