I agree with rlmeena, Photoshop 5.5 will help you create a Banner ad with ease. But I would like to add that ImageReady which is available with Photoshop 5.5, will make your job much easier, if you want to include animations in your Banner Ad. There is an animation window provided wherein you can animate your banner by hiding, unhiding, etc. the layers you have created and moreover once the banner is done, you can optimise the whole clipping quite easily.

i didnt have Image Composer so i didnt say about image composer but it can be done easily in photoshop.you can try it in photoshop.you can download photoshop from
www.roshansystems.com -----> in downloads section. you can see that it is very easy job in Photoshop.
