Make sure that "my computer" isn't open, also, try to go to "add new hardwear" in control panel and/or make sure you use any disks/CD's that may have come with it. Does your Pc fit the requirements?

Browse All TopicsI have tried installing my logitech quick cam express web camera but it keeps sayin that the camera device is in use by another application. I have removed all USB Devices and tried installing just the camera but it still doesn't work.
The software is installed but no image will appear, the only other imaging device i have on my computer is a digital camera but that isn't connected.
What do you think could be the problem, Cheers Paul

After you install the software go to the Logitech site and update the software. Many problems are fixed by updating software. I don`t think that having more then one device on a USB connection would be the problem as I have a quickcam, and two digital cameras on one USB connection (yes, I`m USB challenged, and yes, I know this question is old).
I am having the same issue. Nothing is running that would be sucking up the resources. My next attempt is to reinstall some system drivers for usb controllers/hosts unless someone can come up with a better solution......And this hasn't done anything for me: http://logitech-en-amr.cus
