Asked by Joomlajohn in Internet Advertising, Search Engines, Web Development
I'm working on a project where we use google adsense. I have a hidden div that contains keywords for the types of ads I want to display. This works great, sometimes. Every once in a while google will display ads based on keywords from the domain name. Our domain name includes the name "birdseye" which is a famous frozen foods brand. Randomly for a "session" google throws in ads for frozen foods, fish and birds eye in a group. Other times it throws in aerial photography, gps and things having to do with mapping. It varies from refresh to refresh however each ad group of 5 with 4 previous and next button pages, each grouping contains about the same type of ads. How can I encourage google to display ads based on content more often? Ideally it would never display ads based on "birdseye" in the domain name... I understand this is probably is not possible. Attached is the hidden div we are currently using.
Thanks in advance.
