determine which card is debit card versus credit card

Is there way to determine if a card is a credit card or debit card, based on card number. I have a solution for my customers specific for debit card users which would be very cost effective if I could focus on the debit card holders.

The first four digits determine the bank, the card type can be verified using this list:-

e.g. 4929 = Visa Credit
3742 = Amex debit

I notice that this list is out of date 5301 should be Mastercard Credit Card
