Browse All TopicsI plan on writing my first touch screen application, and hope to find the code needed to represent the keyboard for the user to enter A-Z and 0-9. This is for a POS Point of Sale application.
Does anyone know where I can download that code in C#?
And when it comes to data entry speed, is it really faster than a keyboard and a mouse?
I need the user to enter the following information:
1) order number
2) phone number of customer
3) address of customer
is it really faster to use a touch screen for this?
I find that searching for the right letter is slower on a touch screen than using a keyboard, personally. But I'd love to hear your opinions.
thanks,

As for entry speed, a touch screen is faster than a keyboard when using blocks (such as "The Prime Rib Dinner") and, imo, slower and less precise when typing.
