Digital Dining restaurant management software printer install

I'm working with Digital Dining restaurant management software and cannot get the 2 POS terminals to print to a new Citizen CD-S500 prep printer in the kitchen. It is installed on the backoffice server. I can print a test page from within windows from the backoffice server. Cannnot print from within the digital dining software from the backoffice server or the 2 POS.

    it will prob be a while before a real expert in this selective area shows up, some questions get orphaned, like the guy asking about genome project database software
    obviously there is something wrong with the way it is networked. i will look into the software and see if i can see anything that jumps out at me, but im no expert in POS networking, im just a halfway decent software detective, maybe i'll get lucky, otherwise sorry for the lack of response

    if u can find an hour or so to do a remote hookup on Teamviewer i can try to see why the DD software isnt talking to the printer driver. otherwise u will need to call DD or Citizen for support

    I spoke with my customer today, they are closed on Mondays.
    THursday Morning is a good time. I'm going to get there @9AM EST and setup the temporary internet access and the teamviewer client.

    i installed a temporary ub to ethernet adaptor on this computer to give it internet access and not break the network connections to the pos terminal, and the adaptor had to be removed and reinserted
