it will prob be a while before a real expert in this selective area shows up, some questions get orphaned, like the guy asking about genome project database software
obviously there is something wrong with the way it is networked. i will look into the software and see if i can see anything that jumps out at me, but im no expert in POS networking, im just a halfway decent software detective, maybe i'll get lucky, otherwise sorry for the lack of response

if u can find an hour or so to do a remote hookup on Teamviewer i can try to see why the DD software isnt talking to the printer driver. otherwise u will need to call DD or Citizen for support

THat would be great, but first I have to set up a time with the customer, and give the DD back office server internet access. it currently does not have internet access. How can I get back to you and what timing is best for you

when u get internet on the server download TeamviewerQS client from

we can do initial connection details here, and once we connect we can use teamviewer chat screen

probably earlier in the day, I'll have to check with the customer. I know they are not in untill around 11AM EST. I'll give her a call and get back to you. I'm tied up most of today, but maybe tomorrow or some other day this week?

I spoke with my customer today, they are closed on Mondays.
THursday Morning is a good time. I'm going to get there @9AM EST and setup the temporary internet access and the teamviewer client.
I should be ready between 10 and 10:30. Is that a good time for you?

teamviewer dropped out
close ur teamviewer and restart it, then i need the new pass, ID should remain same

I've lost the connection and need to restart the computer. get back to ya in a minute

i installed a temporary ub to ethernet adaptor on this computer to give it internet access and not break the network connections to the pos terminal, and the adaptor had to be removed and reinserted

finally found the manual for this software

naturally it turns out there is yet another manual, and THAT is the one i really wanted, the Setup manual

i think i found it at  HDSNE site

looks like we were in the wrong neck of the woods, the setup program is where we needed to be, not in the backoffice software
