Anyone else have any suggestions, .. something more specific, perhaps?
Main Topics
Browse All TopicsWe have 2 different websites:
#1 - Website A (hosted by us -- which we have full administrative access to)
#2 - Website B (an ASP-based Volusion hosted shopping cart - which we have limited administrative access to)
We would like to be able to to somehow show the # of items that are in Website B's basket/cart on Website A. This would likely require that we be able to somehow share session data between the 2 separate websites/domains. We are not able to access or modify any of the source code that's on Websites B, however, .. which I suspect complicates things.
Regardless, .. is it possible for us to achieve this functionality? If so, .. how?
Thanks,
- Yvan

1. (easy) Use an iframe with an src on site B.
2. (harder) Use some client-side javascript which do some requests to site B, process the results.
