e-commerce script(PHP) for selling (directly) 0.99 MP3 from web sites

Any suggestions for how to deliver digital content like an MP3?
And any suggestions for how to handle transaction fees that bite into profit margin on a low cost product like this?

There's nothing special about a MP3 as opposed to other forms of digital content.  You add your DRM to the file and allow buyers to download it after sale.

It's a problem, especially if you are a smaller seller and can't guarantee a certain volume level to get everyone to lower their fees for you.  Apple could play hardball with merchants, you probably can't.

Check out Internet Payments Service Providers - Checkout by Amazon has one plan and Paypal has a micropayment service provider.  

To one extent, you might even consider Share-It by Digital River.  They are a bit more expensive but they do everything.
