product images not appearing in magento

Hi.

I'm facing a weird issue with my magento store. I have 2 store views: English and Arabic. I added a few products before uploading my site and the images were showing just fine.

after uploading my site, I tried adding a few products. They appear wonderfully on the english store view. However, on the arabic store view, the images of the new products will not appear: http://216.18.196.2/~batteryl/index.php/arabic/dry-batteries.html (the ones that are not appearing are the newly added products).

any idea y this is happening?

oops sorry about that. I just figured when people will navigate through this question and look for the answer, it would be clear to them which part worked exactly and how it worked. That is why I had to accept my own answer as a solution too =)
