Paying by your credit card offer TONS more security than "paypal's buyer protection" which in my opinion is a farce.
Call your credit card company and issue what they call a chargeback. Say you paid money foer one of those spyware infections posing to be an antivirus or something, they will issue a refund and go after the seller.
Most credit cards offer something rediculous like $40k in fraud protections to cover things like this.
Paypal on the other hand.... they will only refund your money if the seller still has it in their paypal account. Otherwise they just give up and it "tough luck" to you.
