Text message server
I'm not sure what exactly I'm looking for in a product/solution. I want people to be able to text message me their number much like you see on commercials or at sporting events. I'd like to create an in-house solution instead of paying someone upwards of $100 a month for such a service.
Basically, to further explain, I'd like to have a phone number that accepts text messages from customers ("Text 'join' to 555-5555") and have a list created where I can text certain people or the entire group about specials and such. I don't want to charge them anything, just be able to send information out to a list of people in text form.
Any ideas? I'm also open to more reasonably priced services that do this.
