auto-detect html capabilities of an email client

Asked by edfoley in Internet Marketing

Tags: auto, capability, html, client, email

When I send html emails, I have no way of knowing whether the recipient mail client can read html. I generally just attach files with the content within the html. Does anyone know the cheapest, most plug-and-play solution to make my emails autodetect recipients' html capability, and show either plaintext or html, depending?
