Is there a way to gauge the popularity of particular keywords and phrases? (on Google)

Hi,

The title about says it all. I'm just wondering if, short of the Google zeitgeist page, there's any way to tell how often any particular keyword or phrase is searched for. Any advice is appreciated,

Sorry my answer looks a bit terse so here is some additional info :)

Google sandbox is here https://adwords.google.com/select/main

Then if you go through the process of submitting an Ad you will be given the opportunity to see how often your chosen keywords will come up. It is by no means accurate but will give an indication.
