I don't think the actual product is important as emarketing professionals will use their knowledge and experience with any product. The candidate should have a proven track record with a wide range of products and services. As you question them on their previous work look for any innovative ideas that they have used.

It depends on if it is for a junior or senior position or even something in between. Let us know which it is but in general:
My interviews are conversational in style and relaxed.
I expect them to have a portfolio of their work with them.
I want to find out if the candidate can do the job technically.
I want to see loads of enthusiasm.
I want to know they will fit in with the team.
I look to see if they would add something extra to the team.
