There's a good chance that the frequent repetition of "<something> Discounted Prepaid Phone Card Calling Card Optus Mobile Recharge Vodafone Recharge Virgin Mobile Gunbound Prepaid Card Prepaid Internet Card" under 'Our products' is going to be regarded as keyword spam.  You should reconsider that.

You may also want to revisit the advice in the last question - I think the title duz recommended is preferable to the one you selected & I don't see a site map (unless that's what the 'Our Products' section is meant to be ... I didn't see the site before these changes were implemented).

Also, re. your improved URL's - is there any reason that 'www.cheapcard.com.au/product/1,55,Go+India.html' can't be 'www.cheapcard.com.au/product/Go-India.html'?

The other question was fairly recent.  Link building is an ongoing process that requires a lot of hard work.  I presume you are still working on this?

Hi humeniuk.

Ups... Thanks for that. I forget to remove that one.

How should I implement the sitemap? Should I get the sitemap generated in XML format and display it out here?
I actually use google sitemap.

Then, I could not used: Go-India.html because I will need to have the product ID and the category ID. Otherwise, I could not find the product.

Is there any suggestion on this?

I will definitely work on the link building for most of the time.
I think it's gonna take a while.

"I actually use google sitemap."

That should be helpful.  Here's a great example of an on-site site map: www.apple.com/find/sitemap.html.  This should be one text-link away from the home page.  Note the use of anchor text.

"Is there any suggestion on this?"
I would try to stick with the hypen rather than the '+', ie. 'www.cheapcard.com.au/product/Go-India-1,55.html' or something like that.

In a recent meeting with Google folks, there wasn't a lot of "nodding" when that same question came up.  It was like, well, er... I guess it could help.  I lost a lot of faith in the XML sitemaps at that moment.

HOWEVER,

Adding sitemap.html and a good quality HTML static site map with textual links matching your H1 tags is a sure bet, as long as the copy under the H1 tag is quality, relevant information.  Site X Pert is a good product for this and well worth the $150.  Version 8.0 will also create Google Site Maps ready for insertion.

Every site you do should have a sitemap.html on it as well as a sitemap.xml (Google Site Map) - I put both on every site.

Good point about Google Sitemaps, which is still in Beta release after all.

If you're going to use some sort of software (which I personally don't recommend) to generate your sitemap, take the time to carefully review the code that it creates - automated solutions rarely (if ever) produce the kind of clean, standards-compliant code that search engines prefer.

Correct. ... and with this tool being template driven, you can tune it to your heart's content.  We do SEO on over 60 sites, and having this tool capable of doing crawl-based sitemaps reliably is key to efficiency in our case, but there is never a substitute for typing the ole <a href... yourself.  Another reason to use a tool that allows templatizing (e.g. XSLT) is that you can tune the performance of a single site map, and then apply what you've learned on other sites simply by re-running the site map software on the 2nd, 3rd, ... etc site.    So you get a secret recipe that seems to work and use that for this purpose.  Often, we'll create specialty sitemaps (e.g. by industry) for user segmentation also.

If you can code your own template and then have the tool draw out the links, then you've got something ... especially if you're managing 60+ sites :)

Ok guys.
I'll see what I can do about this first.

humeniuk, I have done the pages to use "-" instead of "+".
I think I will draw up a physical sitemap instead of Google sitemap.

We'll see how it goes, and will get back to you guys later.

Thanks.

I think I will just close this thread.
I still have not got time to work on it.

Thanks guys.
