Be careful, there are far more bad ones than good ones.  You can find a great overview on how to find a reliable SEO company or consultant in the Accepted Answer of this question - http:/Q_21016555.html.  I don't know how receptive people will be to a barter arrangement (vacations for services), but it may work.

The best SEOs don't take vacations :)

Seriously, travel is one of the most difficult sectors to optimize and I would add to that list with: Look for a verifiable and successful track-record in the travel sector.

I would suggest you looked into who has optimized the webs for other sites on the travel area. Probably you'll need to find a freelance, as not many SEO companyies are going to accept vacations for services.
Maybe take a look at Rent-A-Coder and ask for offers there? But I think they work only on normal transactions (where you actually pay for the job in cash).
Also, surf the internet and look into the pages of good SEOs, as individuals they might be more amiable to trade money for vacations.
