search engine submission

Hi all experts,
I want to submit my website to some search engines site such as yahoo, google, and other popular sites in order to show my site when visitors searching for something that related to mine. Could you please guide me how can I do that? I don't know the url of all popular search engine sites so I don't know where to submit mine. Could you give me all that url please?
