Hi all
Please suggest me ways in which I can do internet based marketing of a new web application which I am going to launch soon. 1. Identify a niche segment of individuals (pref. with strong networking capabilities) and serve them well with your product, serving "their" core needs. Some examples: doctors, chartered accountants, teachers, insurance advisors, etc. Once a particular group gets hooked on to your product, viral effect will automatically happen.
2. Use StumbleUpon.com
3. Get into places like Yahoo Answers and LinkedIn Answers. Participate in group discussions and offer advice to gain trust for what grows in your mind. Eventually, your product would also get known.
In short, gain trust and then multiply with referrals.
1. Find biggest blogs in your niche.
2. Assuming you are an expert in your area, be the first one to comment on newest posts in those blogs.
2a. subscribe to blogs new posts using rss feeds
3. (hopefully) your comments would be appreciated by good bloggers and responded to .. it's a long term process .. keep at it.
4. Float your own blog and offer valued content. Link sometimes to other top bloggers in your posts.
