Thanks MaffoClock,
I've thought of that but it looked a bit ugly. If I have to go down that path I will but I'm trying to make it look nice. Thanks for the idea though.

Browse All TopicsHi,
I've been asked to create an email for our club that gets sent out to all our members but I need to include a graphic that includes our sponsors logos. Can I create one colour graphic (either jpg or png) that includes the logos of our sponsors, but have each sponsor logo clickable to open up a web browser to that site. I'm using CorelX3 suite (PhotoPaint etc) for graphic creation but I'm using a web-based email provider that asks for the image to upload to be used in the email, hence why I need one graphic.
What's the best way to create the graphic? Can it be done? I'm thinking I need to put slices into the graphic but then exporting to jpg would flattenn it out. Suggestions appreciated.
Thanks

I've said this before on EE, and I'll say it again, never believe "this is the only way to do it"..."thats not possible"..."there's not a reliable way to"... There's usually a way, and there are usually multiple ways to solve a problem when it comes to web design, and development.
In answer to your question:
Create an image map! Here is a detailed tutorial on how to do so:

"there's not a reliable way" is not the same thing as "that's not possible". I almost mentioned an image map, but I was concerned about compatibility with various mail clients (including web-based). Yes, it is an option.

If you can only add one graphic, there's really not a reliable way to make three links out of it. Why not just list the websites in the newsletter footer? If the reader wants to visit the website, I'm sure they'll be able to get there.
