Payment Processor with Credit/Debit Pin Pad support

I am looking for the following in a 3rd party payment processor.  I was reviewing Mercury Pay and it appears they have good standing.  Are there any comparable companies?

Solid company, technical support a priority for customers
Offers commission to resellers (Mercury Pay offers 50%)
Internet based transactions
Supports the VeriFone SC 5000 pin pad
Canadian Debit w/Pin Pad
Easy sign-up for customers
US Debit and Credit cards
Pre-Authorizations
Automated end of day closing
Manual swiping of Pin Pad (returning full Track 1 and 2 data) for credit cards and custom in-house rewards cards
Fully PCI compliant, chip card support

Would like to have:

Customizable company name on customers card statement (such as OURCOMPANY/INV #1234)
North America is our focus, but we would like support for European transactions
Underwriter allows for A to B transportation, souvenirs sales, pre-paid tickets
Allows manually swiping of card including cancel button on Debit transactions

What country are you in?
Just looking through some of the other things - usually when you use third party processor (depending on when they were created / where they are based / who the underwriter is / who the aquiring bank is), the 3PP will be shown on the ticket.  This helps the card associations know where the money is going exactly.

Usually on Debit transactions, the discount rate is lower because the risk of chargebacks is less.  And depending on how many sales you are doing in another country / volume, you might consider an Internet merchant account as well.  Usually, when you key in a credit card on a swiped account, the discount rate is raised anwhere from 1% to 3% depending on the processing, since the risk of chargebacks is higher.  Depending on your country, some of the sales (like tickets to possibly events) would be considered high risk.  Now, with this, a 3PP would actually be something that might be worth it - because of the higher risk of chargebacks, this usually will not go against you.  Having too many chargebacks will place merchants on the TMF / MATCH and this will make it harder / more expensive for the merchant to get a new merchant account.  Sporg might be an option for the events.

I do not know too much any longer about 3PP just because most of the time, it is not worth it.  You have to usually tell them when you want your money, or they payout anywhere from one to four times a week.  A merchant account is usually better (depending on the location of the merchant, products / services offered / volume).

You also mention something about resellers.  This is somewhat a different issue.  Usually, you can sign up to sell merchant accounts by most providers, just make sure they do not have an exclusivity clause - this can cause you to forfeit any residuals and the provider will terminate your agent / reseller agreement.

I should clarify.  I am in Canada and I have several customers here but the plan is to move into the US and beyond.

My customers all have merchant accounts, the 3rd party processor is the "middle man" who takes those payments and drops them into their merchant accounts.

The customers are in the scheduled service, charter and tour business.  All brick and mortar operations.

Our customers require a physical pin pad terminals for swiping Canadian Debit and Credit Cards.  They are currently using the VeriFone SC 5000.  Note that Canadian Debit and US Debit are completely different.  US Debit is like a pre-loaded card and Canadian Debit is tied to your actual bank accounts.

As mentioned, Mercury Pay offers "reseller" commissions.  These are a different from what was described.  They actually offer the developer a percentage of their transaction fees.  This way, developers have incentive to write their control into their software and push their products.

It sounds like the zone I added this to might be more related to online payments and/or virtual terminals, which is not the direction I am wanting.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
US Debit cards are also tied to the bank accounts.  It used to be that when a debit card was issued, a card association logo was not on the card.  And then, for a couple of years, banks would do a credit check before issuing a person in the United States a card with the logo.  Now, most of the banks do not - since the technology has changed and everything can be checked almost immediately now.

Are you just looking for company to sell / offer merchant accounts for?
My understanding was US Debit cards were pre-loaded Visa or MasterCard, but it sounds like there are more variations now.

I'm investigating options for a company that can supply pin pads and offers commissions to the developer for integrating their product.

Once their control is written into our software package that includes POS, we would like to generate a commission off the dollar volume the customer processes.  Mercury Pay works this way.
