The Google link: operator does not work with a space after the colon.
Ref: "Note there can be no space between the "link:" and the web page url". http://www.google.com/help
Even if you use the correct syntax the Google link: operator only shows a small sample of the links that Google knows about.
If you are the site owner or have control of it, from the February 5, 2007 you can use Google's Webmaster Console http://www.google.com/webm
For a more accurate assessment of your inbound links use Yahoo Site Explorer http://siteexplorer.search

Hello,
I repeated those searches that you did and got the same results.
link: www.canadianpardons.ca is jsut more specific. 'link: canadianpardons.ca' returned pages with www.canadianpardons.ca PLUS pages with just the words canadianpardons.ca.
The domain is canadianpardons.ca, www. is a subdomain of that, although it is the default.
Regards
