best way to deal with .com and .co.uk

hi

i have a website that is a .com but my main target is the uk

i perfer to use the .com

but what should i do with the .co.uk which has the same name

should i just redirect as am using a Redirect 301 to go from my .co.uk to my .com site

i was thinking if i used the .co.uk with the same content this would be bad for my page rank

am just not sure whats the best way to go with this and i would like my results to show up in a uk google search would the .com extension stop that?Start Free Trial
