increasing our internal linking structure in an online store

Hello,

We have an online store. In Yahoo Site Explorer (YSE), some of our competitors have a lot of links that are internal links. Our store has many pages, but few internal links. I assume YSE is just showing links to the home page. How do we increase the linking structure of our site so that more links show up in YSE. For example, we have our logo linking back to our home page, but this doesn't seem to be enough.

How do we increase the internal links in our site, specifically the home page which is what I assume is what counts for that figure in YSE when we type in our site's URL?

For example, do we just place a link to our home page on every page?
