How to make my website more searchable , on google, yahoo , msn

Just New on Web Pages, I want to know how can I make my site, more easy to find on Google, Yahoo, msn,   To increase traffic, what options can I change on metawords . I am using joomla CMS to manage this page. Any tips Woujld be appreciated

Joomla! is a great start for getting your site up on the searches since it's already extremely SEO configured by the pros...what you need is content and keywords. You can add your keywords within the admin control panel in Joomla!.

I recommend signing up at Google to use their Webmaster tools learn and monitor the Keywords and search engine hits on your site. Also, get as many people as you can to post links to your website on their site. Be patient, if your site is already indexed by these engines it may take up to a month for it to completely re-index your site. Keep your information dynamic and changing and your site will move up the list quickly if you have enough relevant content for your keywords.

HI, thank you. Where do I add the keyboards In control panel?
I alreaqdy add my site to those search engines. But When I click the site Name on google It shows the Title and then a module Text, and no a cutom text. How do I fix this?

Under Global Configuration >> Site >> Global Site Meta Description is where you add the custom text
Under Global Configuration >> Site >> Global Site Meta Keywords is where you add your keywords for the site
